What's new
A summary of our latest changes.
LatestVersion 2.4September 15, 2026
More variety, less clutter
Questions now feature ten times as many companies, and the Lessons page is just the lessons.
- Practice, ranked and concept questions draw from 128 fictional companies instead of 13, so the same idea rarely shows up under the same name twice.
- The old short-read lessons are gone from the Lessons page; every lesson is now an interactive topic lesson or a skill lesson. Old links land on the right track.
- Lesson cards animate in when you switch tracks.
- The theme picker now offers seventeen color themes, including pure black-and-white options, chosen from a grid.
- The Analytics menu item is replaced by this changelog; your analytics are one click away behind your avatar.
Earlier versions
Version 2.3AchievementsSeptember 15, 2026
Twenty-six badges for milestones in lessons, practice, mastery, ranked runs and mock interviews.
- An Achievements section on your Analytics page: badges you have earned with the date, and the ones still to earn with how to get there.
- A "New achievement" card on the practice summary, the ranked result and a finished lesson chapter when that activity earned one.
- Badges are worked out from what you have already done, so nothing to claim, and a bad day never takes one away.
- Names with a wink: Paper Trading, Round Lot, Invert Always Invert, Diamond Hands, Master of the Universe.
Version 2.2Mastery and a new lookSeptember 15, 2026
Your Analytics page now shows how well you know each topic, not just how you scored.
- Mastery on Analytics: a topic is Learned when its lesson is done with 75% of first tries right, and Mastered when you can run every recipe forward, backward and as a what-if in practice.
- It names your weakest direction, with a link to practice it.
- Every practice and ranked answer is saved toward your mastery when you are signed in. Using a hint means that answer does not count.
- A refreshed interface with eight color themes and smoother buttons.
- Site copy switched to American English.
- Ranked mode retries a draw that fails instead of stopping the run.
Version 2.1Lessons rebuiltSeptember 15, 2026
One interactive lesson for every one of the 28 interview topics, plus a stock-pitch skill lesson.
- Every chapter teaches one recipe: the intuition, why it works, the formulas in words, a worked example with live numbers, diagrams you can move, the same idea run backward, the traps, how to say it in the interview, and a check marked like practice.
- Chapters draw fresh numbers every visit, and the check is graded by the same engine as practice.
- Pitching stocks (multi-manager style): a Hedge Fund skill lesson that strings six recipes into one pitch.
- Interview stages inside Free Practice: HireVue, phone screen, first round or Superday, each with its own mix of difficulty and follow-ups.
- A sitemap so search engines can find every topic and lesson.
Version 2.0The question engineSeptember 14, 2026
The fixed question bank is replaced by 131 recipes that generate unlimited questions with worked solutions.
- 131 recipes across all six career tracks and 28 topics. Each is a small financial model, so every question comes with fresh numbers and a full worked solution.
- Four directions through every idea: forward, backward (find the missing input), what-if, and judgment.
- A Concepts page: every recipe's explanation and formulas, a live example with new numbers on demand, and flashcards.
- Ranked mode is generated and graded on the server, so the answer never reaches your browser before you commit.
- The 55 classic brainteasers stay, corrected where the old bank had them wrong.
Version 1.0LaunchSeptember 11, 2026
Six career tracks, a ranked ladder and voice mock interviews.
- Investment banking, private equity, hedge fund, wealth management, quant and sales & trading tracks.
- Ranked mode: timed sprints that move your rating from Bronze to Champion.
- Voice mock interviews with a written verdict.
- A leaderboard, a career quiz and an analytics page.
